FHS GROUP History

1928

On 5 January 1928, in Bienne, a group of watchmakers and bankers signed the documents creating the Fiduciaire Horlogère Suisse, with the primary aim of overseeing gold stocks and bank accounts. This new entity, also known as FIDHOR, was given a role that it was to continue to fulfil throughout its long history: checking that players in the watchmaking sector complied with the terms of the watchmaking conventions and associations.

Every story starts somewhere and ours began almost 100 years ago. Our main milestones since then have been:

Foundation of the watchmaking industry family allowance compensation fund (ALFA fund), which would later appoint Fiduciaire Horlogère Suisse as its auditor.

1942

1947

Foundation of the watchmaking industry old-age and surviving dependants’ compensation fund (OASI fund), which would also later appoint Fiduciaire Horlogère Suisse as its auditor.

Creation of the first subsidiary, the fiduciary company Soresa SA. With the watchmaking crisis at its height, the idea was to diversify the business by offering services outside the group’s traditional industry.

1980

2005

Purchase of the shares previously held by the watchmaking associations by Fiduciaire Horlogère Suisse executives. During this same year, the business purchased the fiduciary company Collabo SA. This made the group completely independent.

Purchase of the fiduciary company Rettenmund Fidufisc SA, which was then merged with Collabo SA to create the fiduciary company FHS Fidufisc SA.

2011

2017

The group continued to expand with the strategic purchase of the fiduciary company Riesen AG.
